As part of Vale of Glamorgan Council and Welsh Government’s 21st Century Schools Programme, Pencoedtre High School in Barry is now operating from a purpose built three-storey building which accommodates 1,250 pupils. Facilities include a dining hall, main hall and courtyard, a sixth form area, an all-weather sports pitch and games courts. We were appointed by Bouygues UK as the FFE supplier of loose furniture throughout the school.
The £34.7 million school transformation was designed to BIM Level 2 and shortlisted for the Constructing Excellence in Wales ‘Digital Construction Award’. Our Design team completed all space planning of loose furniture, working closely with the teams from Bouygues UK, Vale of Glamorgan Council and the school.
