Legacy survey
We perform an evaluation of every functional legacy item to determine if it shall be remanufactured, recycled or replaced with new. Each legacy item chosen is integrated into the project design. As a business we are dedicated to supporting the circular economy and the reduction of waste to landfill.
Asset management
Our designers work closely with our in-house project co-ordinators and installation teams to ensure the successful management of project deadlines, furniture deliveries and fitted and loose furniture installation. We ensure all project work undertaken is fully completed to achieve a smooth handover process.
Design integration
We encourage our clients to work closely with our team from the earliest engagement possible. Communication is key to our method & success. We provide regular meetings to present design concepts, colour schemes and working mood boards supported by 3D BIM and Revit models.

We understand that every project is unique. Your environment should be reflective of your business. We deliver detailed design proposals to match your requirements, with all project processes coordinated using an integrated management system.

“We are really pleased with the completed project at One Canal Parade. The team at Ministry of Furniture helped us realise our vision. It is important to us as an organisation that we support local suppliers with social aims.
Ministry’s remanufacturing capabilities enabled us to minimise waste from redundant furniture. Our staff love the lockers and desking made from our old desks and they look great.“

They supported us to design a beautiful space which is a pleasure to work in and even went as far as to provide much needed furniture to make our new community space warm and welcoming.”

Our contribution to a greener future.
Sustainability in workplace furniture is an essential consideration recognising the importance of environmental responsibility and social impact. When undertaking any new project we offer a review of legacy stock and provide remanufacturing options for all suitable products. This results in lower spend for the client and most importantly meets all recycling and eco efficient targets, reducing waste-to-landfill footprint.
The Ministry of Furniture installation and factory teams work hard to keep emissions very low. Dismantling and remanufacturing desks and office chairs can result in up to 80% reduction in transportation emissions and divert up to 8 tonnes of ‘material waste’ going to landfill.
Ministry of Furniture’s remanufacturing capabilities are excellent, providing remanufacturing solutions for desking, seating, office chairs, storage lockers and even carpet tiles. Our talented team have the abilities to refurbish old office desking and remanufacture new, modern storage lockers from old unwanted furniture.
If you are interested in discussing any remanufacturing options for your project, please get in touch with a member of our sales team who will be happy to help and can also provide a site visit.
